He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Saxton and Georgianna Saxton; and his wife JoAnn Predko. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Irwin (Kevin) and Norman "Gene" Pickering, Jr.; his grandchildren, Logan and Cameron Irwin; and his brothers, Basil Buchannan and Clarence Pickering.
