He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen and Ruth Hamm Allen; and his siblings, Robert Allen and Georgette "Tootie" Jimenez. He is survived by: his wife Betty Mike; his children, Michelle Whissel (Thomas) of Century, FL and Joseph Allen (Sloane); his grandsons, J. T., Zachery and Luke Whissel; and his siblings, Dolly Berlinger of Guntown, MS, Tracey Harner (Mike) of Williamsport, PA, Kathleen Shaughnessy of Glen Burnie, MD and Jim Allen of Albuquerque, NM..
