He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mooney and Gwendolyn E. Tobin Mooney; his wife Judith A. Shaffer; and his brother George Mooney. He is survived by: his sons, William Mooney (Melissa) of Brockway and Scott Mooney of Brockway; and his sisters, Ruth Mooney of Philadelphia, PA and Ethel Freemer of Luthersburg, PA.. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. (1033 4th Ave, Brockway, PA 15824). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Crenshaw Community Church.
