She was predeceased by: her parents, Deyman Hamm and Messida Hamm (Lorah); her husband Ronald P. Gernert Sr.; and her sister Elaine Sterner. She is survived by: her son Ronald P. "Butch" Gernert, Jr.; her siblings, Mabel Smith, Larry Hamm (Kay), Johnny Hamm (Jeannie) and Jesse Hamm (Marie); and her niece Lillian.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township (45 Cemetery Rd, New Ringgold, PA 17960). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
