Kayleen Hidinger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kayleen Hidinger in Penn, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Brownlee and Eileen Steele Gratton; her husband Gary R. Hidinger; her son Alan Hidinger; and her siblings, Nancy Fleshman and James Brownlee.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Campbell (David) of Brockport, Penny Verne (Paul) of Brockway, Connie Buffone (Phillip) of Brockway, Eric Hidinger (Joy) of Brockway and Rusty Jo Fitzgerald (Dustin) of Vowinckel, PA; her stepsiblings, Patty Luker of Brookville, Cindy Lindemuth of Brookville and Owen Brownlee Jr. of Brookville; and her grandchildren, Douglas Smith, Megan Bish, Andrea Bassetti, Michael Verne, Matthew Verne, Christian Verne, Daniel Buffone, Nicole, Wesley Buffone, Jenna Serafini, Erica Strouse, Dylan Hidinger, Austin Hidinger, Mariah Cummings, Brittany Fitzgerald and Jesse James Fitzgerald. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. (1033 4th Ave, Brockway, PA 15824). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church (551 Broad St Ext, Brockway, PA 15824).
