He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Staivecki and Dolores Staivecki (Lopez); and his siblings, Robert and JoAnn Tanzo. He is survived by: his wife Marcie (Kotzmoyer); his sons, Anthony Staivecki and Brian Kotzmoyer (Jen); his brother Dr. John Staivecki (Donna); his grandchildren, Ellie Marie, Gabrielle, Jordan, Cora and Finn; and his nephew Joseph.
