He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kidd and Emma Kidd (Magill); his wife Thelma Kidd; and his siblings, William Kidd, Eleanor Hook, Elizabeth "Ebbie" Carnathan and Dorothy Malis.
He is survived by: his children, Georgiann Cocco (Nick), Joseph A. Kidd (Linda), Diana Basick (Stephen), Linda Kidd and Valerie Kidd; and his grandson Michael Basick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
