John D. Burkett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 56, John D. Burkett in Penn, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David O. Burkett (Ruth) of Punxsutawney and Rosa Wolfe; his daughter Charlie Marie of Punxsutawney; and his sister Tammi L. Burkett of Punxsutawney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Deeley Funeral Home, Inc. (33 Hillcrest Dr, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Mr. Burkett's memory, to the Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA, 15801.
