He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Antonio Bertone and Francesca Lucia Sandretto Bertone; his aunt Pierina Bertone Sprecace (Phillip); his significant other Helen Astorino Bertone; his brothers, Pete Bertone (Josepha "Toots") and Ben Bertone (Rose); and his cousins, Angelo Tomaino (Cecilia), Albert Tomaino (Betty), Phillip Sprecace and Richard Sprecace.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory A. Bertone (Patricia) and Susan Lee Bertone.
