He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bauer and Marie Vollmer Bauer; his wife Roselyn Bauer; his son Shawn Krug; and his brothers, Ken, Gary and Richard Bauer.
He is survived by: his sons, Victor Bauer of Pittsburgh, David Krug (Holly) of State College, Jerry Krug (Mary) of St. Marys and Terry Krug of St. Marys. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
