It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joel R. MacKay of Penn, Pennsylvania, born in Butler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Aggas MacKay and Joseph F. MacKay; his siblings, William M. MacKay and Rev. JoCarole Bundy; and his son-in-law Dr. Timothy Spina.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stevens MacKay; his children, Shari Jo Manos (Charles), Merri Ann MacKay and Wendy Jayne Spina; and his grandchildren, Sasha Joachims, Wade Joachims, Chuck Manos Jr. (Sarah), Claire Balmer (Bob) and Joel R. MacKay III. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
