It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Gerber in Penn, Pennsylvania, born in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Howard Miller and Margaret Nitsche Miller; and her brother Thomas Miller. She is survived by: her husband Louis A. Gerber; her children, Laura Swanson (Mike) of Kersey, William Gerber (Yvonne) of St. Marys and Stephen Gerber (Patti) of Kersey; her grandchildren, Allison Pistner, Courteney Pistner, Rachel Wicks, Kyle Gerber, Cole Gerber, Shawn Meyer and Tracy Uhl; her brothers, James Miller of State College and Robert Miller (Connie) of St. Marys; and her sister-in-law Jean Miller of St. Marys. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
