He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard John Boughner and Margaret Jean Boughner (Simpson). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jean Boughner (Buell); his son A. J. Boughner of Edgewood; his sisters, Jane Vernon (Douglas) of Seattle, WA and Susan Cushnie (Richard) of Kalamazoo, MI; and his pet Augusta Cypress. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, in-laws, friends.
