He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawson Barr Sr. and Helen Agnes Barr (Lingenfelter); and his close friend Gary Thomas. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Lawrence; his niece Linda Sterrett (Jim); his great-niece Mckenna Sterrett; his great-nephew Dylan Sterrett; and also Ashton Sterrett. He is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, and friends.
