He is survived by: his significant other Irene "DeDe" Wortman; his children, JoDene McDonald (William) of St. Marys, Andrew Straub of Hamburg, NY, Cory Straub (Debra) of Kersey, Mary Rochelle Hess (David) of Vincent, OH, Melissa Greene (Roger) of San Diego, CA, Amy Jo Foote (David) of St. Marys and Terry Straub (Jane) of St. Marys; his siblings, Joan Smith of St. Marys, Victor Straub (Dolores "Dot") of St. Marys and John Straub (Sylvia) of St. Marys; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Simbeck and Ed Bosnik. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
