With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Knisely (Penn, Pennsylvania), born in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 27, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brookens and Phoebe McNew Brookens; her spouse Donald L. Fortney; and her close friend Clarence Hess. She is survived by: her children, Lori Hall (Ron) of Butler, KY and Donald Fortney (Beth) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Robert Youse, Matthew Fallecker, Gary Fallecker, Jr., Matthew Fortney, Bradlee Fortney, Emily Senior and Jessica Skillman; and her siblings, Joyce DeHart of Fayetteville, Ruby Wenger of St. Thomas, Dixie Simpson of Chambersburg and Garnet Brookens of Chambersburg. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
