He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Heller and Betty Heller (Cole). He is survived by: his wife Jenny Heller (Makofka); his children, Jill A. Schwab (David) of DuBois, Janet L. Haines (Brad) of DuBois and Gary C. Heller of DuBois; his grandchildren, Jendi N. Schwab, David A. Schwab and Alexander B. Haines; and his brother Gregg E. Heller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
