He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCarren and Gertrude McCarren (Sorg); his great grandchild Ariannah Rairdan; and his siblings, Victoria, Holly McCarren and Joseph McCarren.
He is survived by: his children, David McCarren (Mary) of Force, Kimberly Ehrensberger (Mike) of St. Marys and Francis "Buddy" McCarren, Jr. of Altoona; and his siblings, James McCarren of St. Marys, Sara McCarren of St. Marys, Geraldine McCarren of Ridgway, Theresa McCarren of Marienville and Patricia (Masden) of Sunbury, PA.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home (12045 Bennetts Valley Hwy, Penfield, PA 15849). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (17764 Bennetts Valley Hwy, Force, PA 15841).
