He is survived by: his children, Ann Herzing of Pittsburgh, Jewel Canton (Richard) of Etters, PA and Bryan Herzing (Kristin) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Skyler Canton and Gage Canton (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Blade Belic, Cru Belic and Lucy Canton; his sisters, Margaret Ruckman of Fredonia, NY, Sally Caskey of St. Marys and Marie Kresge (Ronald) of Columbus, OH; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Herzing of St. Marys and Jean Herzing of St. Marys. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
