She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Wayne Gray, Sr.; her daughter Theresa Patricia; her siblings, Pauline, Samuel and Nathaniel Ferguson; her niece Paula Ferguson; and her stepsiblings, Elwood Gaines, Flora Bell Andrews and Pauline Jeffers.
She is survived by: her children, Ida M. Johnson, Josephine Gray, Walter W. (Nancy) and Charles N. Gray; her cousin Freddy Mae Jones; and her godchildren, Gail Richardson, Patricia A. Carter, Pauline McDaniels, Stephanie Thompson and William Wargo. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
