He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ogden Gerst; his children, Charles Gerst (Jackie) of Tionesta, Vicki Roberson (Larry) of Colonial Beach, VA, Chris Linn (Joe) of Millvale, Peg Lehew (Mark) of Wexford and Jan Richards (Dan) of Wexford; and his sisters, Catherine DiMaio (late Dante) of Canton and Rose Baierl (late Jim) of Ross Twp.
