It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Gilbert in Penn, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Gilbert and Althea Gilbert (Fish); and his siblings, Stephen Gilbert and Susan Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gilbert (Lines); his daughter Bridget Young (Wayne); his grandchildren, Cody and Branten Tubbs; his great grandchild Mason Hartzog; and his brothers, Ted Gilbert (Connie), Dan Gilbert Sr. (Carol) and Thomas Gilbert Sr. (Diane). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the DuBois American Legion, VFW, or the Olympic Club.
