He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Haldie and Elizabeth Haldie (McWilliams); and his sister Beth Jurgovsky (Ken). He is survived by: his wife Beth Haldie (Montgomery); his children, Edward Allan Haldie and Heather Mae Haldie; his sisters, Rae Ryan, Mary Wesoloskie (Bob) and Carol Rutledge (Chris); and his pet Dakota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
