He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Heberling and Vivian Heberling (Crawford). He is survived by: his wife Debra Heberling (Slattery); his son Ryan Heberling (Stacy); and his siblings, George Heberling, Robert Heberling (Patty), Barb Hoover (Bill) and Karen Nosker (Pat). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
