He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Freto and Adele Freto (Portante); and his brother Robert Freto. He is survived by: his wife Laura Freto (DiClaudio); his children, Donna Ratzell (Thomas), James Freto (Jennifer Woodward) and Laurie Vitale (Damian); and his grandsons, Greg, Alec Ratzell, Matthew and Christopher Vitale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
