He was predeceased by: his wife Luanne Chickilly (Tyahla); and his parents, James, Sr. Chickilly and Joan Chickilly (Petrash). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Chickilly of Union, NJ, Angela Chickilly of Schwenksville, PA, Susan (Ted Sidoriak) of Tafton, PA and Christopher Kruslicky (Donna) of Summit Hill; his granddaughters, Emma Sidoriak, Sophia Coccio, Maggie Sidoriak, Chloe Kruslicky and Valerie Kruslicky; his brother Michael J. Chickilly, Sr. (Joann) of Summit Hill; and his sister-in-law Vivian Chickilly of Tamaqua. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
