He was predeceased by: his parents, Ponsford Kays and Claire Tirrell Kays. He is survived by: his wife Marion Metzger Kays; his children, Marie Rickey (Lee) of Bangor, Charlene Breiner (Dan) of Forks Twp and David E. Kays of Easton; his siblings, Phil Kays (Dorothy) of Phillipsburg, NJ and Jane Louise Daiello of Easton; his grandchildren, Lauren, Daniel, Vanessa, Brianna and Josh; and his great grandchild Elyse Noelle.
