He was predeceased by: his father Stanley J. Szmyd. He is survived by: his mother Marian Szmyd (Crescenzo); his wife Sandy Szmyd (Cross); his daughters, Carly Likar (Eric) and Cassie Szmyd; and his granddaughter Lucy Mae Likar.
