He is survived by: his wife Cathy Herrod (McIlvaine); his children, Clay Herrod, Jr. and Amanda Pecora (Attilio "Tee"); his grandchildren, Attilio "Tee" Pecora, Jr. and Amy Pecora; his sisters, Janet Roy and Dolores Frye; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Irene McIlvaine.
