She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Miles and Anna Herbst Miles; her husband Leander "Lee" Wendel; her son Gregory Wendel; and her sister Rose Ackley.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Wendel (Jason Smith) of St. Marys and Brandon Wendel of St. Marys; her grandchildren, Alyssa Pontious, Dylan Pontious and Colton Wendel; and her siblings, Jane Dixon (Neil) of Florida, Virginia "Ginna" Sorensen of St. Marys, Kathy "Terry" Shannon of St. Marys and Charles "Chuck" Miles of St. Marys. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
