He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nickum and Olive Nickum (Hoelzer); and his brother Louis Nickum. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Nickum (Nye); his sister Sharon Zandier (David); his sister-in-law Audrey Ballintine; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Ballintine, Kelly Ballintine, Brad Zandier (Lauren) and Lori Zandier.
