It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berlan Smith of Penn, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen W. Smith and Mabel M. Smith (Hawk); his stepbrother Robert F. Smith; and his stepdaughters, Linda Tyson and Sheila Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores J. Markley Solt; his stepson Mark Solt (Lori) of Ashfield; his daughters, Jennifer (Jeff White) of Albrightsville and Tiffany (Morris McPherson) of Las Vegas; and his stepbrothers, Richard German (Ann), Jerry German and Terry German of California. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces & nephews.
Memorial Contributions in his honor may be made to a charity of choice.
