Arthur J. Blasco Sr. Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Arthur J. Blasco Sr. of Penn, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Arthur left this world on September 23, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Blasco and Marie Blasco Smith (Testa); his grandsons, Austin and George Cline; and his parents-in-law, George and Lucy Cardella.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Blasco (Cardella); his children, Lucia Marie "Mia" Cline (Scott) and Arthur J. "AJ" Blasco Jr. (Melanie); his grandchildren, CJ Blasco, Toby Cline and Alexis Blasco; and his sisters, Rose Marie Gaudi (Jerry) and Ruth Ann Busato (John). He is also survived by four nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. (201 N 1st St, Jeannette, PA 15644). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (504 Cowan Ave, Jeannette, PA 15644).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jeannette American Legion Scholarship Fund.
