He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson (Swanson); his wife Audrey Thompson (Carlson); his brother Emmet Thompson; his granddaughter Holly Jo Bova; and his great grandchild Haden Bova.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Nelson (Donald) of Jamestown, NY, Marcia Fleck (Robert), Mark Thompson (Cindy) and Patricia Reasinger (Pat); and his grandchildren, Scott Nelson, Kristina Gelnett, Brian Nelson, Jessica Schroeck, Matthew Thompson, Julie Ferrari, Carolyn Chesley, Andrew Reasinger, Alexander Reasinger and Valerie Thompson. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
