It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Nester in Penn State University, Pennsylvania, born in Gilberton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dmitri Stefero and Anna Stefero (Mallick); her husband John Nester; and her siblings, Mary, Anna, Eva, Theresa, Helen, Michael, Peter and Steven.
She is survived by: her son John D. Nester (David M. Nester); and her grandchildren, Katherine Nester (Michael Oberg) of Charlotte, NC, Michael Nester (Christina McGee) of Jersey City, NJ and Leyla Nester of Cabin John, MD.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Holy Apostles Orthodox Church, 7111 Wertzville Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
