He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur and Anna May Kunkle Matthis; his daughter Linda Matthis; and his brother William E. Matthis. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Matthis (Oros); his former wife Donna Mona; and his daughter Karen Fridg (Ralph J. Fridg). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
