He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Morris Everett and Ruth Everett-Shank (Hendricks); his brother Terry Hendricks; and his pet Joey. He is survived by: his wife Tammie Everett (Shaffer); his children, Bryan Banks, Nicole Smith (Joseph) and Katheryn Everett; his grandchildren, Karlee, Landon, Peyton, Teagan and Mia; his siblings, James and Judy Ann Abel; and his stepsiblings, Donald, Larry, David Everett, Lorraine, Tammy, Sally and Cheryl Shank.
