He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa J. Grassi; and his sister Eleanor Nemanic (Ed). He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Grassi (Judy), Judith "Judy" Cappella (Bruce Marsh) and Theresa "Terri" Gelpi (Jim "Jimbo"); his grandchildren, Cara Mia DiRubbo (Chris), Vito Grassi (Christina "Ina"), Rachel Lovelace (Kelvin), Rocco Cappella (Kelly), Natalie Gelpi (Bryan Boyer) and Vincent "Vinnie" Gelpi (Jessica Flowers); his great grandchildren, Stella, Enzo, Giancarlo, Kelin, Raekwon, Jevhoni, Antonio and Chase; his siblings, John Grassi (Margaret) and Teresa Wilson (late Art); his sister-in-law Millie Jeffries; and his caregiver Margie Reiter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bridges Hospice, 4130 Monroeville Blvd., Monroeville, PA 15146, especially in honor of the loving care provided by the people who became family and were affectionately named the A-Team who tenderly cared for both Bill and his dear wife, Theresa, just a few years earlier.
