She was predeceased by: her parents, Hope Beatty and George Beatty; her husband Charles G. Baird; and her sibling Mert. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Baird, Charles Baird (Sally), Robert Baird (Janet), William "Bill" Baird (Amy) and Diane Baird.

She was an active member in the Unity Community Church, donating her time and loved to cook for the congregation, fundraisers, and funeral wakes.
