She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Lombardo, and Joseph Lombardo, Sr.; her husband James J. Bruce; and her siblings, Joseph Lombardo (late Nora), Dominic Lombardo (late Alice), Diane Lombardo and Frances King (Lawrence).

She is survived by: her children, James Bruce, Jr. (Shari) and Valerie Bruce Hovland (Robert); her sister Catherine Facciani (late Ralph); her cousin Josephine DelPizzo; her sister-in-law Virginia Iannacchione; her grandchildren, Alexandra Garner (Andrew), James Bruce, III, Andrew Bruce, Robert Hovland and Dana Bruce; and her great grandchild Catherine Garner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
