He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Coburn, Bernice Coburn, Virginia Coburn, Melvin Colburn Janet McKinley, Barbara Coburn and Donald Colburn; and his brother-in-law John Reed (John Ford).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Coburn; his children, Michelle Gainey (Edward), Dana Coburn and Derek Wilcox; his sisters, Ernestine Reed, Nadine Coburn, Veronica Patterson and Odessa Lewis; and his grandchildren, Ma'Riah, DJ, Joseph, Alexa, Darius and Saint. He is also survived by other relatives, nieces, nephews and cousins.
