He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Heinz and Helen Heinz (Ilch); and his brother Roy Heinz. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Heinz (Blain); and his sisters, Linda May Schmalzreid and Karen Seidel.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Colman Church - St. Joseph (100 Tri-Boro Expy, Turtle Creek, PA 15145).

Memorial contributions may be made to Lewy Body. Donation Association (https://www.lbda.org), in Gary's memory.
