It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Stowell of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R Stowell; and her son Kirk Stowell. She is survived by: her children, Susan Sauer (Jim), Craig Stowell (Janet) and Andrew; her grandsons, Jason (Amy), Brian (Michelle) and Patrick (Marci); and her great grandchildren, Sabrina, Shae, Alyssa, Abby, Jason, Asher, Aniah, Annabelle, Maximus and Bo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and godchildren.

In lieu of flowers, because of her life-long devotion to education, family suggests contributions be made to your favorite education endeavor in her memory.

“Dolores and Chuck were like our second set of parents and grandparents to our children. They were always such loving and wonderful people. They were the first people at the hospital when Matthew he was born and were so concern regarding Matthew's condition. They were there throughout his life and now they are all together. Our deepest sympathy to the family. Love to all, Terri, Mike, Emily Joe and Alannah and Matthew in spirit.”
