She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph T. Backoefer; her daughter Debbie Lynn Nickel; and her brother Martin Lake. She is survived by: her son Daniel R. Backoefer (Sharon); her grandchildren, Vanessa Chambers (Micah), Kristina Backoefer and Kevin Backoefer; and her great grandchild Katelynn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alice May's memory to First United Methodist Church, Music Department.
