He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred P. Washburn and Alvina Washburn (Melchior); and his children, William A. Washburn Jr. and Beth Washburn. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Bearbower) of Pen Argyl, PA; his daughters, Anne Olah (Jeff) of Brodheadsville, PA and Terry Portenstein (Tom) of Westfield, MA.; and his grandchildren, Tommy Portenstein, Sarah, Robby Portenstein and Jeffrey Olah Jr. (Aimei).
