He is survived by: his father Richard Smith; his former wife Diana Smith (Gregory); his son Zachary; his sisters, Susan Smith of Philadelphia and Laura DeBerardinis (John) of Bangor; and his nephews, Nicholas Smith Renner, Jospeh DeBerardinis and Mathew DeBerardinis.
