It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Schaffer (Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania), born in Bath, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Paul Schaffer; his siblings, Raymond Schaffer, Dorothy Pysher, Marie Wessman, Pauline Thompson and Betty Schaffer; and his son-in-law Ralph Catino.
He is survived by: his parent Miriam Florey Schaffer; his wife Edna; his children, Barbara Wenton (William) of Stroudsburg, Deborah Finken (Paul) of Easton and Rebecca Catino of West Bangor; his grandchildren, Jared Pennington (Nicole), Anthony Catino (Bridgette) and Stephanie Catino; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Wenton (Georgette), Jaret Wenton, Paula Miller (Eric), John Finken, Chris Bass (William) and Brandon Finken; and his great grandchildren, Emily Rose, Seth Rose, Taylor Rose, Grace Rose, Chloe Rose, Morgan Rose, Natalie Rose, Connor Rose, Cameron Rose, Olivia Rose, Rowan Rose and Stella Rose.
