He was predeceased by: his parents, Taliesin Davies and Lottie Davies (Amy). He is survived by: his wife Viola E. Davies (Kenyon); his children, Sharon Letson-Allen of Slatington, John W. Davies, Jr. of Walnutport and Sandra Collins of Bangor; and his sister Bette Davies of Pen Argyl. He is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
