He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Ralph Smith and Mary Hassan Smith; his son Jeffrey Smith; his brother Donald Smith; and his granddaughter Lindsey McGinley.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Groller Smith of Pen Argyl, PA; his children, Stephanie McGinley of New Ringgold, PA and Gary Smith (Gina Maisto Smith) of Philadelphia, PA.; his brothers, Rev. Douglas Smith and Lawrence Smith; his grandchildren, Dylan Davison (Hugh), Jake, Sawyer, Lauren Alex, Sam and Carie Smith; and his great grandchild Braden McGinley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gary's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
