He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dean and Jessie Dean (Levens); his former wife Deanna Masino-Dean; his nephew Brian Dean; and his siblings, Billy Dean, Leon Dean and Alice Best (John Best).
He is survived by: his children, Jessie Dean-Gerard (David Gerard), Roxann Dean, Heather Masino (Kevin Fornarucci) and Richard Masino (Stacie Gallo-Masino); his grandchildren, Katie, Autumn, Brooke, David, Aidan, Lorenzo and Deanna; his great grandchild Madison; his grandchildren, Adelyn and Elijah; his siblings, Victor Dean (Georgette Dean), Matt Dean, Janet Dean and Sheila Carey (Ted Carey); and his wife Melody Waldron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
